Vikash
JAMMU, Jan 28: Kabaddi teams of Jammu and Kashmir today left for participation in the 49th Junior National Kabaddi (boys and girls) Championship to be held at Hyderabad from February Ist to February four.
The selected
teams given a formal send off by CEO of the J&K Amateur Kabaddi
Association, Kuldeep Gupta from Green Playfields, here. Both the teams
underwent screening conducted by the J&K Sports Council (JKSC) under the
guidance of Divisional Sports Officer, Baljinder Pal Singh.
Earlier, the
teams were introduced with the visiting officials of the JKSC by general secretary
of the Association, Surinder Mohan Gupta amidst presentation of details of the
upcoming event.
Both the teams
presented the sports kits by Kuldeep Gupta in the presence of Dr Jagandeep
Singh, Sandeep Singh Risan and Suraj Bhan Singh, Manager, JKSC.
Mr. Baljinder
Singh, Divisional Sports Officer, and his team also screened the team.
In the
meantime, president of the Association, Anil Gupta conveyed his good wishes to
the team for improved performance.

Rather (Srinagar), Rohit Singh (Jammu), Sajad Ali Maqbool (Poonch), Deepankar
Sharma (Jammu), Abhishek Chib (Jammu), Mir Danish Manzoor (Anantnag), Vansh
Sharma (Jammu), Rahul Singh (Jammu), Moomin Qayoom (Baramulla) and Akash Sharma

Girls: Kriti (Captain, Udhampur), Gazala Gulzar (Srinagar), Divya Chouhan
(Samba), Shakura Begum (Kathua), Ravina (Kathua), Taniya Sotra (Samba), Kiran
Katoch (Ramban), Vanshika (Jammu), Sukriti Sharma (Jammu), Divya Wazir (Jammu),
Komal Sharma (Doda) and Meenakshi (Udhampur).
