SAMBA, January
13: A team of prominent citizens and social activities of district Samba today visited the official residence of
SSP Samba, Benam Tosh to present him the ‘Pujit Akshat’ as part of the Ram
Mandir consecration rituals.
The group of
prominent citizens included international cricketer and vice president of the
Kreeda Bharati J&K, Surinder Bagal, who also presented Pujit Akshat to
father of District Development Commissioner Samba.
Among others
who accompanied were Subash Sharma (Jila Sang Chalak), Anurajji (Vibhag
Parcharak), Prem Nandan (Vibhagjryabah), Trivuban (Jilla Karyavah), Randhir
(Jilla Karyavah), Surinder Singh Bagal (Jilla Sanjyojak), Davinder Babbu (Seh
Sanjyojak), Dipak (Seh Sanjyojak) and Nillambar (Seh Sanjyojak).
Meanwhile, the
district police chief expressed his thanks to the locals of Samba for
presenting him the Pujit Akshat and invitation. He was happy to see important
persons of the district getting involved in spreading the message at the grass
root level.
