JAMMU, Feb 11: The
two-days long 8th J&K UT Ju-Jitsu Championship concluded today showcasing
the skills and talent of young martial arts trainees J&K at Indoor Complex,
Bhagwati Nagar, here.
The event was
organised by Ju-Jitsu Association of J&K involving participants from
different districts and clubs, a handout issued by the Association here today
informd.
In the
valedictory function, social activist, Tarun Uppal was chief guest, who along
with Neeta Rawal, Principal Army Public School BD Bari, Manjeet Singh,
chairman, Kalarippayattu Association of J&K and Gul-e-Surkhab were guests
of honour.
Suraj Bhan
Singh, chief coach and incharge manager of the J&K Sports Council was observer.
Among other prominent present were Dr. Navneet Gupta, Tarsem Sharma, Arshad
Aziz, Amit Singh, Danish Sharma, Farooq Ahmed, Muzaffar Ahmed, Harsh Vardhan
and Rudrakshit Gupta.
