In Under-16 Boys group, Lakshya Choudhary clinched the title while Anubhav Dubey and Aarush Sharma remained second and third respectively. Similarly, in under-16 girls, Ashwiina Raina emerged title winner and Muskan Razak was at second place. Third place went to Vibhuti.

Besides title
trophies, those first three position holders presented with cash prizes worth
Rs 75,000 by the chief guest, Atul Kumar Gupta, joint secretary of All India
Chess Federation (AICF).
Earlier, the
event was declared open by former Legislator, Devinder Singh Rana, who was
chief guest. He interacted with 180 participants from different educational
institutions and districts along with MD IDPS, Suminder Singh; Principal,
Randeep Wazir; Manager, Madhu Abrol; president AJKCA, Baldev Raj; Ravi Sharma; Chief
Arbiter, Anil Kotwal and technical supporter, Arvindu Sharma, Bindu Pathania
and senior player, S P Sharma.
