JAMMU, February 09: A delegation of veteran footballers of Jammu today called on Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar, Advisor to Lt Governor J&K to know and discuss on the follow-up action taken by the Government regarding a representation submitted by a delegation led by Yudhveer Sethi in the recent past.
The
representation was regarding dismal condition of Football in Jammu district.
The Advisor listened to the visiting former J&K footballers, who put forth various
demands with stress laid on a new synthetic turf with night playing facility
within the GGM Science College campus.
The charter of
demands also included allied facilities such as wash rooms, changing rooms and
necessary gym facilities in addition to changing rooms, 40 feet height net
fencing and more improved sitting stands at Mini Stadium Parade.
The Advisor was
patient enough in listening to the visiting delegation, who in turn thanked he Advisor
for assurance of early disposal of the request.
The delegation
comprised Ashok Sharma, Amarjeet Singh, Yousaf Don, Nitin Bagga and Kamaljit
Kumar.
