Sambo team leaves for National

 

JAMMU, January 23:  The J&K Sambo team, including 17 players and officials, today left for participation in the SIA National Sambo Championship slated to be held at Garkheda Parisar Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, Aurangabad in Maharashtra from January 26.

As per a handout issued by the J&K Samba Association, the team is accompanied by Brijesh Bhau and Gopal Dass as manager and coach respectively. Honey Sharma and Anamika Sharma were also part of the team as technical officials.

Earlier, the team flagged by president J&K Olympic Association, Dr Ashutosh Sharma. Also present were Rajesh Dutta, Vikas Gupta and Sahil Sharma.

The Team: Rishi Mehra, Piyush Bhau, Rakesh Sambyal, Abhishek Choudhary, Shourya Sharma, Keshav Sharma, Abhay Partap Bhau, Gorav Saini, Dhairya Sheel Singh, Ayush Khajuria, Tanmay Johal, Kameshwar Saini, Samridh Khajuria, Angle Gupta, Anmika Sharma, Piyush Swroop and Ishant Gupta.
