JAMMU, February 27: Jammu and Kashmir Ju-Jitsu team returned with 14 medals, including six gold and two silver in the National Ju-Jitsu Championship held at Dehradun in Uttarakhand.
The medal
winners included those in under-21, adults, masters and para events. The
J&K team participated in the Nationals under the banner of Ju-Jitsu
J&K.
The Medal
Winners: Gold: Koushal Garg, Rajan Bhardwaj, Rajesh Singh, Anirudh Verma, Mohit
Singh and Subqat Malik. Silver: Rudrakshit Gupta and Harshita Singh. Bronze:
Ravinder Kumar Mukherji, Amina Bano, Ina Dhar, Suresh Kumar and Mohd Owais.
The team was
accompanied by Danish Sharma, Harsh Vardhan Raina, Farooq Malik (National
Ju-Jitsu Referees) and Muzaffar Ahmed (team coach).
Meanwhile, the
on behalf of Ju-Jitsu J&K, Tarsem Sharma complimented the medal winners for
their performance.
